How They Work

Storm Clamps are not only strong, effective and easy to install, they can be used to protect both recessed and non-recessed windows – which is something that other mounting systems are incapable of doing. Storm Clamps are also vastly superior to embedded anchor bolts, which some people utilize to secure storm panels.

Step 1

Step 1
Pre-drill holes for base mounting screws.

Step 2
Insert bolt into flat side of base ensuring bolt is flush in groove.

Step 2

Step 3
Screw base into structure, screws penetrating 1½" recommended.

Step 4
Insert clamp, washer then wing nut onto bolt (hand tighten wing nut)

Step 3

Step 5
For use loosen wing nut and position clamp to allow plywood placement.

Step 2

Step 6
Position clamp over plywood and hand tighten wing nut firmly.

Storm Clamps can be installed in the vertical or horizontal position on any and all sides of window or door opening to be protected.
